The main focus of my writings will be my thoughts and reactions to things as I perceive them.
These posts will most certainly be influenced by my experiences, passions, and beliefs. While I understand that I have a limited view of the world and my perceptions are in no way infallible, I hope that as I write about the problems and successes that I see, that eventually I will be able to gain some new knowledge that I may share with others in the future.
In order to present myself and my posts in as translucent way as possible, I feel it is necessary to share some information about myself. At the time of this post, I am in my early twenties, I have been married one year to my beautiful wife Aimee, and we do not have any children yet. We live in Idaho where we are both attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am a Communication major and Aimee is studying Graphic Design. We will both graduate in a year.
I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly known as “Mormons”). This is important, as my membership and belief in the teachings of the LDS church have influenced my life in countless ways. I served for two years as a full-time missionary in the Metro-Detroit area, and I imagine that there will be times when I will reference my “mission” in later posts, so this is an important point to understand.
